New Section 2003 August 20

Added a very sparsely populated section containing notes and maps and such from my various tabletop games. Right now it just has some maps done for a D&D game I'm running, but I expect it to eventually sport much more.

Lots of Change 2003 August 11

I'm pretty bad about keeping this front page up to date. I've made some changes on the "Literary Pretensions" page, installing a wiki for my novel in progress, eliminating the notes stuff.

I've also spruced up the look of the "Code Projects" page, but I still need to sort through all my utility code and put up the projects worth looking at, get rid of the projects that aren't.

Added in Writings 2002 December 6

I put this piece of my site together almost a month ago, but I'm just now getting around to putting in a link to it. It's surprisingly weak at the moment. I think I'm a really good writer, but in preparing this section, I've come to realize that I don't have much evidence to support that belief.

Since first posting this, I've been working on some short pieces to hone my talents. I'm thinking maybe two more passes, then I'll put up the first of these. Two weeks? Three?

Fixed Resume 2002 October 10

Well, it's been long enough now that I can probably admit the experiment with personal info isn't exactly a resounding success. When I did the first round of it, I wiped out my resume, and it took me until today to actually fix that.

Meanwhile, most of the stuff I write, I write in my LiveJournal because at least people will read it if I write it there.

Maybe if I double-posted....

Anyway, the resume is fixed, and I've been working on a couple code projects, so.

Revamped Site Layout, PHP 2002 August 8

Initially I just wanted an easier way to add stuff to the personal section, but it eventually migrated into a slightly different look and feel once I had the option to change it, so now it's been reworked. I rewrote everything in PHP (trivial) and then used the templating power that offered to muck around with the nav bar and other formatting.

I think my look continues to be clean to the point of spartan. I may add some grey to make the monochromatics more pronounced, but I like the way white and black "flash" when they contrast well, so I may not.

Simple is elegant. Elegant is beautiful. Maybe I'll stick with what I've got.

Added Some Personal Info 2002 August 7

It's taking some time, but I'm slowly building up my "personal info" section. It may evolve some more over the next few days, mostly as links appear to different articles.

I've been sorta inspired by jwz's hypertext emporium to create something with some depth rather than simple hierarchy, and I think I'll do that with my personal section.

I'm not sure yet how I'll organize it as it evolves. I'll save that question until it evolves, I guess.

Added MUX Archive and Resume 2002 June 16

Finally updated my content a little. It was a "huge" update by virtue of the sheer volume of stuff I've added, but it didn't take me nearly as much effort to upload all 900MB of stuff as the sheer volume would seem to indicate.

The MUX Archive was the largest part of that. I know there's lots of duplication, and I've got whole folders where almost half the content is a "compiled" version designed to be uploaded to a MUX rather than read by a human. The sad fact is that while I could add a lot of quality to the collection, I just don't have the interest at this point.

I also added a "personal info" section, where I will eventually sort in some personal info. Right now, it's just a resume. And that probably tells you about as much as you care about anyway, no?

The MUX Archive
A huge collection of MUX stuff from back when I did that.
Code Projects
A few doodles I've written in Python, and some slightly more involved projects.
Tabletop Gaming
A collection of resources for various tabletop games.
City of Heroes Stuff
Screens and such from City of Heroes play.
Literary Pretensions
Various bits of writing I've done. Sadly, this is the cream.
Personal Info
The beginnings of interesting facts.
My Old Site
My old site. Hopelessly out of date, but with some content that may migrate over here.
My Journal
Not kept as regularly or intimately as I might like, but when I have provocative thoughts, that's where I post them.
