I am Geoff Gerrietts. I live and work in the Boston area, doing programming and systems administration for Psynchronous Communications. Psynchronous does some very interesting things tying web analytics together with contact management. I maintain and enhance the various software engines that support this work, and try to keep the hardware side in line as well.
My intent with this site is threefold. First, I'd like it to resemble me enough that it serves as a way for people to reconnect. I've discovered that I enjoy hearing how people's stories have evolved. The second is to serve as a sort of profile; I touch lightly on a large number of online communities, and I know for my part, I get curious about many of those people. This, then, is my effort to satisfy the curiosity of others. The third goal is to offer a little bit of new thought. Over time that might represent projects or programs or poems or stories; for now it's just a placeholder.
I've grouped a small collection of personal details under the heading "Biographical". That's where you'll find things like my resume, descriptions of a few of the projects I undertook, some information about my hobbies, and other salient life-details. I can also be found on Facebook; there's probably a slightly different selection of impersonal biographical details visible there.
Under the "Projects" heading, I have a placeholder page. My intent is to link in some of the things I have done, or some things I'm working on. As I release the site, I have not linked anything new in.
Many of the things I've had available on one incarnation of this site or another, have simply been taken down this time around. If you were looking for
something, feel free to drop me a line; I'll see what I can do. But I suspect that most of it was old enough that it escapes interest, by now.
History has shown that once I build a site like this, I do not do nearly as much with it as I initially intend. It's possible that any or all of the information herein is outdated to some degree or other. I apologize for any lapses; again, feel free to contact me if you're in need of something specific.
